Snowday!
Ten inches of snow and London is paralysed! Other cities are better prepared, but other cities have to cope with this sort of thing more frequently.

My boss has emailed me telling me not to bother coming in unless I really want to - I've suggested just reading through PDFs and he's more than happy for me to do that.

Yay!

I think I'm going to suit up and head to my local shop (and I, like the good Doctor, like a little shop) and get essentials like newspapers and comics and maybe even a little booze...

It's time to party like its SNOWING!

Well, Sod's Law: I set out half an hour early and arrived at work half an hour early, having had a more-or-less smooth journey via Victoria and Piccadilly lines (having checked the TfL website, I knew to avoid my usual District/Circle). I'm the only clinician here, others having been unable to get here from closer parts of London than Vauxhall) and the admin staff are amazed to see me.

I'm going to stay, do some paperwork then, if nothing's happening by lunchtime, bugger off early.

My lecture has been cancelled, none of the trains around here are working anyway and I'm only awake because the journalists have started to hysterically call Dan. I am considering going to the park where the Brockley community convenes to go sledding on trays when it snows.
